Apple Valley Water Park Updated May 2014
Memorial Day is the traditional opening for outdoor water parks in the Twin Cities area but this park doesn’t open until June 7, 2013. The Apple Valley Family Aquatic Center is located on Johnny Cake Ridge Road.
The Apple Valley Aquatic Center already has a great tour. Here is a LINK for you to take a look.
Apple Valley Water Park Tour
This fun family attraction has a zero depth pool with several water fountains for the younger children to enjoy. The zero depth pool extends into a deeper area where older kids can splash and play. There are also several diving boards for older kids to dive from. For those who are more adventurous there are several water slides available. Two body slides are almost vertical and are short, but very fast. Two additional body slides are longer but also quite fast. There are also two tube slides that are a lot of fun for all ages. For those who are more interested in relaxing, a ride around the lazy river is the best choice.
Apple Valley Water Park Hours and Prices
The Apple Valley water park is open at 11:00 am daily until August 23, 2014. A daily admission is $9.00 per person or $6.00 after 5:00 pm. There is food available on site and picnic areas are scattered around the park. The park is large enough to spend the entire day or just go for an afternoon. Regular safety breaks are mandatory and lifeguards are on duty at all times. This is only one of many water parks throughout the twin cities, but is one of the best values for the money.
